There is Crosby beach just 20 minutes by commuter train from Liverpool. It is main attraction is not swimming or for a suntan but for the chance of having a look at hundred of cast iron sculptors. For several years already, they have been standing here in the surf and looking into the distance. This art installation is called "another place", and takes more than three kilometers of the sea coast wide and one kilometer of sea deep. The author of the project the sculptor Antony Gormley says he was trying to show that the human being is as much a part of nature, the waves, the city, sand and clouds. Locals call them a hundred of drowned; every day at high tide they go under the water and come back every morning next day.
